So when I first started getting serious about this mailing list, I knew I had to get serious about my body, too. I've already struggled with (and BEAT!) early-onset precarpal tunnel syndrome, with the help of some wrist guards and a meditation class. But if I am going to devote the kind of attention that these updates are going to require and devote myself to the new people I'm gonna meet from the mailing list (& Friendster) I am going to need to shape up.
It is going to take energy, I thought, and it's also going to take fitness. But a lot of the drinks I was using to fuel the mailing list beast were slowing me down in the other areas. I know my body needed to turn carbs into energy but those same carbs were slowing me down with the single ladies. This is why the lo-carb nature of Monster NRG drinks is so important. Its like Dr. Atkins and Dr. Energy had a love child - and it's far from a monster (it's a Monster, tho!). Anyway, it gives me the energy I need to pull all-nighters searching for the funniest forwards and most popular Youtube videos and to teach myself html. Best of all, I am starting to get a lot more looks from ladies on MUNI. 1 word: SCORE.
